Laissez-faire was a dishonest propaganda tactics for selling what was actually crony capitalism that was crafted after criticism of capitalism gained currency, not a thing that actually existed or was ascribed to be real governments. Free market capitalosm but rather facilitate the corpate-crony welfare state.
