I got back from a big conference in SF on March 28. Came down with a sore throat on the 30th. A huge percentage of the people I know who attended the conference plus two of my three kids in SF all came down with the same thing at the same time. In other words there is a much more virulent epidemic going on in SF. R0 is probably something like 10.
