It's a bit of a tangent, but do you have any advice on how to self-learn math? I'd like to complete some CLEP classes so I can meet the prerequisites for a CS program, but it's tough to learn on my own.
- analog31 7y agoThis is a tough one for me. Math and physics were two subjects that I needed to learn in a classroom. This is one of the reasons why I'm skeptical about the complete demise of traditional education. One possible idea is to get started learning math through physics. The reason is that physics is more applied than pure theoretical math, but the typical way of learning it makes use of similar math principles. Perhaps seeing this stuff in use will help pull you along when working through the pure math subjects.
