That's exactly the point. When people hear a chord progression or see a painting where the subject is placed according to certain rules of composition, it evokes a feeling of harmony. Conversely, a photograph with the subject bulls-eyed dead center feels motion-less. It's not wrong, but it can be less interesting, more stagnant.
