My answer on how to profit? It's simple: Start planting seeds. Even if there is still snow on the ground get growing, it doesn't matter what you grow, veggies, flowers, fruit, weed. When you grow a plant you are producing a consumable product, even if you consume it or share it with your friends there is profit there. Gardening also reduces stress and we could all use a bit of that right now, especially if lowering our stress levels keeps us out of the hospital during this crisis. Turn off the news, put down the phone and start planting. We may never get to the SHTF moment but I know I will sleep better knowing I have some food growing just incase it does. There are lost of plants and veggies that take little to no skill to grow on a small scale. Potatoes, Kale, Strawberries, Runner Beans are so easy if you dropped the seeds/roots on the way to the garden they would probably grow.
