How long do we expect shelter in place to last?

- yibg 7y agoMost countries can't survive months let alone years on lockdown. Most people can't work remotely, so in extended lockdown people lose their jobs and small businesses fold.
- ccktlmazeltov 7y agoif we can trust the imperial college of london, the next 12-18 months will have 2/3rd of their time in lockdown.
- Gibbon1 7y agoI think that model assumes everyone goes right back to 'normal' as soon as lockdown is lifted. China and South Korea are both using regulations and surveillance to try to keep r0 below 1 while out of lockdown.
