Thank you for the excellent write-up here. I'm sad to hear that Starsky is dissolving, but I have hope that the lessons learned here will be applicable elsewhere. The point about safety being a low priority with investors makes sense but is unfortunate. I hoped that Google's investment in Waymo would push past this hurdle, but they're latest funding round makes it clear that they also have to deal with investor wants over the success of the technology. Really hoping to see someone get the funding to make this tech work reliably in the future and apply the same safety-first design that Starsky used.
