- hcknwscommenter 7y agoThis this this. YOU DO NOT NEED A KIT. You just don't. The kit is just basically a small tube of Trizol reagent that you can just buy by the ton, and oligos that you can order for overnight delivery, in a nice fancy package.
- danieltillett 7y agoYou don’t even need Trizol - us old school Molecular Biologists used phenol. For something like snot you probably don’t need any extraction process beyond heating to 100C in buffer.
