This won’t apply to private rentals. You’re out on the street if you can’t make your rent.
Their $1,000 offer doesn’t go very far in California. It only pays for 2 weeks of rent. Or maybe 3 months of grocery for one person.
And, if you make too much money, you won’t get any assistance. You’re screwed both ways.
- closeparen 7y agoHousing courts will likely not be processing evictions. You'll be incurring some nasty debt (and so will your landlord, probably) but not physically transferring possession.
