Maybe you're especially insightful. I was taking Computer Engineering classes in 1990 and I distinctly remember thinking, Why would anyone want to deal with something so complicated and unreliable as digital music files, when radio and CDs worked just fine, were so much simpler to use and sounded better?
- thaumasiotes 7y agoBut... CDs are digital music files. There is no difference of any kind between playing a digital music file and playing a CD.

- thaumasiotes 7y agoWhat? You could make a case for "comparing apples to baskets that contain apples", maybe. But you may notice that eating an apple and eating an apple that came out of a basket are the same task.
