I held off from getting a Switch until this past November, and it was a weird product called Ring Fit Adventure that ultimately made me pull the trigger.

How have you found that? I've been debating the same purchase.

  You have to commit to it and have a bit of self discipline like any other exercise regime. But if you can do that it's a lot more fun than just running on a treadmill and lifting weights. The game inside is actually pretty good, and has some depth (but that depth kinda slowly unlocks as you play).

    I run ~3 miles every day on the treadmill and dislike just about every minute of it. If i can get a fun gamified workout in the same amount of time that sounds way better.

  I like it a lot. I mix it with Just Dance and Fitness Boxing. I only have fitness based software on my Switch.

    I assumed just dance was awful for the longest time (motion controls, dancing, yearly releases, tacky box art - no way this could be any good right?). But then I played it at a party and was blown away by how much goofy fun it is, especially when everyone's inebriated.

      It also gets your heart rate up to cardio levels (according to my fitbit at least)

  it's very hard to buy right now, there's been a run on them due to coronavirus, and the rings are manufactured in China so supplies may not be replenished. They're going for hundreds of dollars.

  It wasn't top tier when it was released either. The 2017 Gen 1 switch was using a variant of the X1 chip that had been around in other devices since 2015.
