Ehh if microvms are the future, we are going to need software to schedule and orchestrate them across large clusters. Software with this capability happens to already exist and it’s called Kubernetes. I feel as though the author is only thinking about Kubernetes as an application platform. However, you can build platforms on top of Kubernetes (knative, Istio, etc) which solve many of the issues the author has brought up.
