One of my biggest concerns is that they mean well and rush these vaccine trials as having a vaccine very soon would be IMMENSELY VALUABLE. But the fear part is that they screw up, people get hurt, and the anti-vaxxers dominate the conversation which leads to broader fear of vaccines and a vastly worse outcome overall for the foreseeable future. I would not envy anyone who has to make such decisions right now. And I would respect the process as it is, rather than be angry at it, because vaccines are overall some of the safest medicine in the history of medicine and that's really important to getting people to use them.
