I have tried very hard for the last few years to do Python development on the iPad Pro with a combination of Termius (to ssh into my home machine) and Pythonista. They are both great apps but it's not enough -- time and time again I ran into fussy little roadblocks that were taking too much time to resolve. I finally got flummoxed enough to buy a refurbished HP Elitebook 820 instead. Mind you, I work on financial applications so YMMV. I love my Mac -- I wish the iPad was there, but it's not there yet. Great for watching Netflix though ...
