The only question I have, and the only question I ask regarding any external keyboard for an iOS device: can I remap caps lock?

  Mine would be when can we get a Pro keyboard too like the one on the MacBook Air? Escape and F keys are too useful to lose if this is a potential laptop replacement. Maybe Brydge will make a full function aftermarket keyboard.

  Tangential, but I’ve observed that preferences of what caps lock should be is dependent on your domain. I write and use a browser in my work. Caps lock as backspace makes the most sense. There will be others that will (unnecessarily) argue with me that caps should and always will be escape. A possible (mainstream) solution is to change the caps to a custom key that’s configured in the initial setup of a device.
