The recording shows your face in a window because you are speaking, and the content in a big screen. You just hit the "record" button in Zoom and it works. This of course makes sense because we were operating remotely; if your wife is teaching in a lecture theatre then that's a different kind of thing. Likewise, if she is creating lectures to be viewed offline, then the cost and effort goes up, and she's now going to be spending all her spare waking hours editing video.
