It'll be as interesting to see how this affects Bing rankings.
- joshhart 16y agoIt should affect them automatically. We know Bing uses Googles search -> page results coming from the Bing toolbar. If a site's ranking is reduced by Google, the same should happen (maybe to a much smaller extent) in Bing since that feature is now smaller.
- trezor 16y agoIt doesn't have to and I believe you are mistaken/oversimplifying. As far as I understood the whole Bing ordeal was that users with the Bing toolbar reported not the links and ranking shown, but what the users chose as the "correct" hit for that search. In that regard this doesn't really have to alter Bing's results in any way at all.
