While reinfection is ominous and unwelcome, the fact that individual cases like this are newsworthy makes me hopeful that it is a rare phenomenon.
- jshevek 7y agoThat's what I was thinking. Especially if there is a genetic factor involved, and we can determine that only a small percentage of the population have it, then we could still achieve a level of herd immunity.
