But there’s just so many of them. Between the hotel and restaurant industry we’re talking about more than 20 million people.
- xbmcuser 7y agoPeople don't realise that many of these business will be dead and wont come back after. The knock on effect will go up the supply chain. For example lobster trappers, fishers, ranchers, farmers bulk of their income comes from supplying to restaurants if restaurants are not buying prices will come down which will affect them further.
- mml 7y agoHaving seen it first hand, the vast majority of those 20 million people are living check to check. even missing a few shifts puts them on the brink of homelessness. this is going to be very, very bad.
- ericd 7y agoI’m pretty sure the police departments and judges aren’t going to be allowing evictions right now.
