The day after my sister and I ask our widowed mom to quarantine and two days after my sister and brother in law rearrange everything so my mom isn’t watching my niece, my mom proceed to attend a party held by other widows from her support group and communities to host her daily card games. Quarantine I Guess just means don’t go out to her

Doesn’t she know that because I’m super serious, I get to boss her around!!” I find the attitude of many people advocating quarantine is arrogant and patronizing, along with undertones of fascism. If you can’t convince other people to go along with your plan, that’s your fault. Maybe it’s not that good of a plan or maybe you just didn’t explain it well. I’ve already seen people advocating for using force to enact a plan they can’t talk people into. Amazing how quickly self-righteous people turn to violence. So much for a free society.
