Furlough would've been a more accurate word.
- SilasX 7y agoIIRC, "layoff" originally meant the same thing as "furlough" until it became a euphemism for "terminated due to failing business" or just "terminated".

- capableweb 7y agoI always thought furlough was an US-specific thing, Norwegian Air is based in Norway.
