I do the same. I have my own for flask website setup with SQLite with user signups etc all configured. I also have some JavaScript SPA projects configured. I can clone the git repo and start doing something useful in a few minutes and all my scaffolding work is done. While there are scaffolding tools already available sometimes those scaffolds are a bit too bare bones and you need to add some other common bits and pieces.
