His "ramblings" get posted because he was running for president on a campaign addressing issues that most candidates do not address in a constructive manner such as job displacement from automation and UBI. I'm personally not a fan, but I wouldn't be so dismissive as I believe the statements don't actually contradict each other like you think they do.
