Does it work? I had a look outside after writing the comment. The ones I saw where either plastic or wood. (small sample) Edit: I guess the handles we have in our private homes doesn't matter as much as those for public buildings. I'm quite sure the typical public door handle here in Norway are those black plastic plates/pads.
