A doubling time of 3 days corresponds to 26% growth per day (not 41%), because 1.26^3 ≈ 2.
- kragen 7y agoYou are of course correct. I don't know how I made such a glaring calculation error in the first place or how it slipped past me. That explains why Italy's doubling time is so close to 3 days (it's doubling every 4 days) despite being so much less than 26% growth per day. Thank you for the correction.
