- jdm2212 7y agoThe exclusivity bit is what I was referring to. The only reason [1] to make it US-exclusive is to boost reelection prospects. [1] There are other, way dumber possible reasons but I guess I'm trying to be charitable. He might not be able to wrap his head around positive-sum problems in general, or he might think that the US gains some advantage from all its trading partners having their economies destroyed.
