Interesting. I largely sympathize with skeptics, certainly a step up from religious bigotry. But this type of self-righteous elitism rubs me the wrong way enough to make me turn in the door. Mainly because there is no room to talk of common ground across cultural divides, like the ubiquity of the golden rule for example. Only mockery and insults. Great for finding like minded friends in small, liberal minded groups in religiously conservative societies. Nothing on which to base general tolerance and long term human societal progress.
