Here is a paper from clinicians: "Breakthrough: Chloroquine phosphate has shown apparent efficacy in treatment of COVID-19 associated pneumonia in clinical studies." What China did there was they spent huge effort to find possible cures from existing drugs in the entire drug database known to mankind, herbal medicines included.
