Agreed. I wonder out of the cases where both human and Watson had an answer ahead of time and were waiting for the buzzer light, what percentage did Watson win? If it's much higher than 50%, I would say that a significant portion of Watson's advantage derives not from the language processing but the response time / mechanical advantages.
