Honest question, is the government allowed to prevent US citizens from returning to the US?
- jsjohnst 7y agoGenerally speaking, no. But there are edge cases.
- cddotdotslash 7y agoNo, and they're not. It applies to foreign nationals (i.e. non citizens). They can, however, enforce a quarantine when citizen returns.
- microtherion 7y agoI don't think so, for reasons of both national and international law. However, the US is not necessarily obliged to allow any particular vessel into the country.
