One interesting book I have read is Prisoners of Geography, and it really made me think differently on geopolitics. Natural resources, trade routes and defensive barriers have a huge impact on a countries geopolitical strategy. It made me go from “Why the hell are they doing that!?” to “reality is probably more complex”.
