I think that's mostly a marketing pitch and an outdated one at that. Safety tech has come a very long way.
It is true, but only marginally and mostly at very high speed, heavy impact collisions.
- harimau777 7y agoI'm not so much meaning safety technology as raw size. To give an extreme, in a collision between a full size SUV and a Smart Car I would expect the driver of the SUV to be more likely to survive.
