Took me a while to make sense out of the title. It's a confusing analogy, Amazon is river, Paliessie is mostly forests, bogs, with a number of rivers. I understand the biodiversity context, but even changing the title to spell Amazonas (it's a salad of meanings anyways) would make it less ambiguous, perhaps more exotic.
