But I did it on the free plan.
I’m quite unsure where the valuation comes from.
- swyx 7y agowhat valuation do you impute from a $53m Series C? (i have no knowledge, but am curious)
- raiyu 7y agoHard to say but i would gather 10-20% dilution. Later rounds are less so valuation $250-$500MM SaaS valuations have reached all time highs companies doing $2MM ARR are raising at $100MM+ post

- subpixel 7y agoAs a user they've never sold anything to, I can't even imagine a valuation of $53m. I am not calling BS, I'm wondering about the business and the moat that justifies these numbers.
- swyx 7y agoheheh, thats fair. freemium is a tricky biz model to understand. but also you're not being given anywhere near the amount of information the VCs have.
