Change of color was one thing but the change of shape was very surprising. tl;dr: changes in color and shape may have been due to hormones being the first(?) male-to-female hand transplant, hand shape became more female.

- gibolt 7y agoThey mentioned her losing 12kg after an infection. There could be more to it, but that is a significant loss that could explain much of it
- hinkley 7y agoI kinda suspect that gender reassignment patients and their doctors were not at all surprised by this change.
