Pair programming can be very useful when you're training someone new or starting up a new project and want to spitball ideas.
I was offered a position with full-time remote pair programming. That sounds like a nightmare to me and opted out of that one.
- Trasmatta 7y agoI did full time pair programming for about a year and a half. Can confirm that it was a nightmare. At my current job I pair maybe 2 or 3 hours a week, and for my working style that's perfect.
- hising 7y agoI said no to an opening like that as well. I have no problem doing it from time to time, doing it every day sounds like a total nightmare
- wolco 7y agoIt could work out if you split the work. You work in the am I'll take the pm. Half days.. not bad.
