I don't even know what I burned my internet points for since the comment I was replying to seems to have gone.
- SuoDuanDao 7y agoPretty sure what happened is: someone said ubiquitous facial recognition would discriminate against ex-cons, minorities, et al. Someone saw that as saying it's OK to discriminate against minorities for the same reason it's OK to discriminate against ex-cons, and got upset on behalf on minorities. Others got upset at that person on behalf of ex-cons, and a valuable lesson about clarity in expression was learned.
