I know I will get downvoted for saying this but every thread on women issues always get hijacked by men talking about themselves and how the world is unfair to them. That doesn't happen on articles on men. Those don't get hijacked by women similarly.
My female friends always point this out and this is true. Every time someone talks about issues surrounding women, instead of letting them, men comes in swamp telling them how miserable their lives are. They don't go to a therapist to resolve issues they should but instead take any chance to vent on women. They don't try to make a community, movement or some statement to help other men left out but cry in misery. They told me how it awful was and the experience really sucked for them. It was toxic. They needed a baby sitter instead of a partner.
They also wasted a lot of time on useless things and less on improving their lives i.e, hygiene, eating habits, schedule etc. They told me how they were relying them to pick up those daily stuff for them. That I'd consider unpaid labor and god knows how much labor they are performing for free.
Edit: I am only describing what I heard from them in the second part of the post.
- LunaSea 7y agoRead my other comment down below, it's not free labor since they are paid through the use and consumption of goods bought by their partners.
- Proziam 7y ago> They don't try to make a community, movement or some statement to help other men left out but cry in misery. This is 100% false. However, most (almost all?) communities that men try to create for themselves are called sexist and their membership is subjected to social abuse for just being a part of it. > They needed a baby sitter instead of a partner. They also wasted a lot of time on useless things and less on improving their lives i.e, hygiene, eating habits, schedule etc. This is just unnecessary and comes off as hateful. I've dated numerous women who were no better. My fiancee is an absolute blessing in that regard. > Every time someone talks about issues surrounding women, instead of letting them, men come in swamp telling them how miserable their lives are. There are female-centric communities, moderated for exactly the purpose of facilitating discussion by women, for women. If you don't want to hear men's opinions, don't go to forums where men are part of the membership. > Edit: I am only describing what I heard from them above. You straight-up said, "it is true." In what way can you pretend to only be describing what you heard from others when you proclaim it to be true yourself?
- thrwaway69 7y agoI agreed with the first part. Not with whatever I said described later i.e stuff about not improving their lives and delegating the responsibilities. But I have found that every thread on women issues often end up with a men centric comment section. I agree with that.
- reportgunner 7y ago> every thread on women issues always get hijacked by men talking about themselves But why do you want men to fix it ? Should we ask more women to come comment on men's articles ? From my point of view it seems like the lack of women coming to comment on men's problems articles - I don't believe we should ban men from commenting on women articles.
