They didn't go that route with Oracle/java.
Whoever is in charge of this situation dropped the ball out of fear. It cost Google plenty because all videos should have ads unless you are on a paid account.
- nemothekid 7y agoGoogle didn’t lose anything by settling with Viacom. The Oracle lawsuit put the whole Android ecosystem at risk. The trade offs weren’t similar at all
