Maybe I'm the minority, but whenever I worked with D3 to do anything beyond the simple barcharts this shows, I ended up having to manipulate the SVG DOM manually, which quite frankly sucks.
- bhandziuk 7y agoThis is my experience too. Once you start wanting to do anything that is not just out of the box you need to know the ins and outs of SVG at which point you may as well just make your own SVGs in JS. Which is what I've ended up doing.
