There's insurance for this type of thing, and I'm guessing that the organizers do not have it.
- nikolay 7y agoTrue! Many of the ticketing companies offer insurance in terms the buyer decides to cancel or the event cancels - they still get their money. But it's extra cost, which not everybody is willing to cover!
