I think you are confusing Sanders position against fully open borders vs an allowed, but controlled immigration process.
- bendbro 7y agoAllowed but controlled immigration is what I believe the result of Republican efforts has been. Sure, they probably want to decrease immigration even further, but they haven't gotten policy that far yet.
