- yellowapple 7y agoYeah, I realized that after typing everything up, lol One point of comparison would be the sheer number of "earth diver" myths (believed to have originated in East Asia, then spread across modern day Russia/Finland and North America), in which some being (often a bird) dives into that primordial ocean and pulls up the land.
