So when something like this happens, what do people do about potentially $1000 in unrefundable airfare?

- roel_v 7y agoWebsite in GP says that registration fees are only 50% refundable, too.
- omegaworks 7y agoSometimes your credit card company will automatically issue you a travelers insurance reimbursement.
- bruce_one 7y agoIt would be an acceptable reason for cancellation coverage with a lot of travel insurance (ymmv, but I know of less-logical reasons for cancellation that were covered).
