By the way , I'm wondering how much the high cost of the test in the US is responsible for a number which looks (to me at least) suspiciously low.
- swsieber 7y agoI personally like the CNN new feed for keeping up on new developments: https://www.cnn.com/asia/live-news/coronavirus-outbreak-03-02-20-intl-hnk/index.html https://www.cnn.com/asia/live-news/coronavirus-outbreak-03-0... I also like the wikipedia articles because of the nice data tabulation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_coronavirus_outbreak_in_the_United_States#Timeline https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_coronavirus_outbreak_in_t...
- onebot 7y agoI am glued to this. Seems to update in realtime.
- oneredoak 7y agoI’m a big fan of the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 map, with the ability to click on individual states: https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6 https://gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.h...
- akeck 7y agoUsing the JH dashboard numbers, is the death rate calculated by 3000/(3000+45000) or 3000/89000?
- whatshisface 7y agoNeither, both would be skewed. That's because death happens after infection and recovery takes longer than death, and the number of cases is growing. What you want is dead/recovered N (28 for example) days after infection, which you will have to find elsewhere.
