I just put a copper and aluminium thing with large mass (about 100g) directly on the processor. Under light load it is about 20 over ambient. Despite CPU stress tests, I have never had it throttle. Make sure it touches the usb chip. Edit: my rock pi has a proper heat sink and it runs even cooler. 12 over ambient
