The phone 4 for Verizon uses a dual-mode chipset (same as the druid pro) - they just haven't added a SIM slot to it. The smart money is on the next iPhone supporting both (it will have to anyways in order to support LTE data). If the CDMA phone isn't selling well, there would be no reason to hold the CDMA iPhone back.
