At least up until Gen8 you could use any drive; the bays came in standard dimensions and took my Western Digital drives without a problem. I don't see why that

At least up until Gen8 you could use any drive; the bays came in standard dimensions and took my Western Digital drives without a problem. I don't see why that should have changed in the meantime.
- hrez 7y agoWasn't there something about fans blowing at 100% with non-HPE drives due to their firmware?
