I do wonder why so many big websites have chosen to present huge annoying cookie banners to people that are still, at first glance, a clear violation of GDPR. (Like having no explicit opt-in, often not offering an opt-out besides the notice to close the site etc.) Why annoy your users if your are not compliant anyways?
