If I was a passenger in a Tesla, I would not let the driver turn on Autopilot. If they refused, I would get out and get a rideshare.

    I can say "I'd rather not take cyanide" without having to try it first.

      Sure but cyanide definitively kills you, and you're talking about a product of which (it appears) you have had no first hand experience.
